ARB101 (5 Credits)

Introduction to the basic alphabet, grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary of the Arabic language. Listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Prerequisites: None.

ARB102 (5 Credits)

A continuation of ARB101. Continued study of grammar and vocabulary, with emphasis on pronunciation and speaking skills. In order to register for this course, Rio will need to verify that you have completed the prerequisite(s). How do I do this? See Syllabus for full course description.

Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in ARB101. Completion of prerequisites within the last three years is required.

ARB201 (5 Credits)

Review of essential grammar of the Arabic language and study of the Arabic culture. Continued practice and development of reading, writing, and speaking skills. Emphasis on both fluency and accuracy in the spoken language. In order to register for this course, Rio will need to verify that you have completed the prerequisite(s). How do I do this? ARB202 (5 Credits)
