Your Rio Salado College tuition can be paid in full by phone, in person, online or by regular mail.

Make a Payment by Phone

You can make a payment using your credit or debit card over the phone.  

  • Call the Student Business Services Office at 480-517-8330 to make a payment using:
    • Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover cards

Make a Payment in Person

You can make a payment in person at the Student Business Services Office using:

  • Cash
  • Check - with Rio Salado College noted as the payee
  • Money order
  • Credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards accepted

Make a Payment Plan through Nelnet Online

Payment plans can only be set up online through your student portal. Payments set up through Nelnet are automatically withdrawn on the fifth day of each month using your checking, savings, or debit/credit card.

  • The Student Business Services office cannot set up payment plans over the phone.
  • Payment plans have a set payment date (fifth day of the month), this date cannot be changed.
  • Scheduled payment plan payments may be made by calling our office or in person only three days before your scheduled date.

Make a Payment Online

You can make a payment online using:

  • Debit or credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards accepted
  • e-check - you'll provide routing number and bank account number

Payment plan payments are also accepted online.

If you pay your fees online using self-service: Be sure to include the $15 registration fee along with your tuition. You may be dropped from your courses for non-payment of the registration fee. Tuition and fees are due 10 days prior to the class start date.

Make a Payment by Mail

You can mail your payment to Rio Salado Student Business Services Office, 2323 W. 14th St., Tempe, AZ 85281, using any of the following payment methods:

  • Check - with Rio Salado College noted as the payee
  • Credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards accepted
  • Money order
  • Note: Cash is not accepted by mail. Cash payments are accepted in person at the Rio Salado Student Business Services office
