GED Transcripts

Students who earned high school equivalency diploma (GED) while in prison can access their transcrips through the Arizona Department of Education.

AZED Transcripts and Student Records

If you are a continuing student (but not currently enrolled in a class), here are your next steps:

1. Remove incarcerated hold:

2. Get your MEID number (if account is active).
   • If your account is not active, please reactivate your account. If you receive an error, contact idme.maricopa.edu or visit admissions and records at a location.
3. Reset Maricopa & Rio Salado College systems password at idme.maricopa.edu.
4. Setup your student email - [email protected] (a Google email account).
5. Update your contact information using the Student Portal.
6. Add photo identification as required to enroll or re-enroll either at campus or online.
7. Set up Duo Two-Factor Authentication for system access and security.
8. Visit Academic Advising and talk to an advisor for assistance in planning your next class.

If you were released from prison and still active in a class, please log into Rio Learn to view your progress and communicate with your instructor.

If you have never attended Rio Salado or one of the Maricopa Community Colleges, please contact Admission and Records Office or start your application online.

What is the difference between a MEID and Student ID?

• MEID: Your secure username for logging into all digital systems (e.g., abc1234567). In most cases login is [email protected].
• Student ID: A separate 8-digit numeric code used for in-person campus services like the library or computer commons.

Find MEID - This link lets students locate their MEID if their account is active.

Find My MEID

Reactivate MEID - This link allows the student to reactivate. When they reactivate, they will be shown both their MEID and Student ID. If they get an error filling out this form, they will need to navigate to idme.maricopa.edu and initiate a chat with the district office.

DUO Mobile

Please visit the Student Portal and update your contact information with your phone number and email so that you can receive a DUO notification.

To set up your password, please use idme.maricopa.edu or Tech Support 1-888-994-4433.
