The Business program’s curriculum is designed to help you develop leadership and communication skills that can be applied across several professions. Our experienced instructors will teach you supervision techniques, how to lead an organization, manage the day-to-day business operations and challenges, understand strategies for conflict negotiation, and handle human resource issues. Esports (CCL)

This certificate is designed for students interested in using their skills in hospitality, business, creative writing and/or technology within the esports industry. Students completing this certificate will acquire knowledge of the field of esports that will enhance the ability to gain entry level employment in the world of esports.

Human Resources Management (CCL)

Interested in working in Human Resources (HR)? HR professionals help organizations with strategic planning, selecting, hiring and training new employees, as well as managing policies and practices around compensation. The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in HR Management will help students prepare for a career in HR.

Management (AAS)

Are you interested in working in management? The associate in applied science (AAS) program is designed to provide students skills for a career in management. Students completing the program are better equipped to apply business skills needed for successful performance in management occupations.

Organizational Leadership (CCL) and Organizational Management (AAS)

Want to study business along with another field? This program is designed with a customized curriculum specific to a student’s individual needs. The program provides business skills and techniques for planning, organizing, leading and controlling business situations within a context identified by you – the student. Students select 20 industry/job related course credits as your elective credits. These credits can be in IT, heath care, nutrition or any field you select!

Retail Management (CCL and AAS)

Want to advance your career in retail? This is a nationally recognized program developed by retail industry experts and community college leaders to prepare retail employees for positions in management. Rio Salado works in partnership with the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) –a non-profit organization whose mission is to advance the food industry through education and leadership.
