Scholarships
The Maricopa Community Colleges offer two kinds of student scholarships: those funded through the District and those funded through the Maricopa Foundation. Students can apply for these scholarship opportunities, and may also be eligible for one of the additional scholarships listed below.
Maricopa Community College District
A district-wide tool allows you to apply for college-specific and external scholarship opportunities. Once you complete your application, you will automatically be eligible for all scholarships.
Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation
You can apply for hundreds of scholarships with just one application through the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation. Scholarships are available for specific academic programs and colleges in the District. There are also general scholarships for those who meet the eligibility criteria. Study Abroad
Financial aid may be available to eligible students participating in a study abroad program. Eligibility will depend on the student's individual financial aid eligibility, enrollment, and the course associated with the study abroad experience.
Students planning to use financial aid should keep the following in mind:
- The course associated with the study abroad program must meet applicable financial aid eligibility requirements and apply toward the student's eligible degree or certificate program.
- Financial aid may not cover the full cost of the study abroad experience.
- Program deposits, travel costs, and other expenses may be due before financial aid is disbursed. Students are responsible for meeting all study abroad payment deadlines.
- Students should complete the FAFSA and any outstanding financial aid requirements as early as possible.
Students interested in using financial aid for a study abroad experience are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office before making financial commitments to discuss their individual eligibility and available options.
Additional funding may be available through study abroad scholarships. Students are encouraged to explore scholarship opportunities early.
Eligibility Requirements
Note: Only students with a lawful presence in the United States may qualify for Maricopa Community Colleges scholarships or federal financial aid. Any information provided pertaining to legal status may be subject to mandatory disclosure to federal immigration authorities under Arizona law.
