What is an MEID?

An MEID (Maricopa Enterprise ID) is an assigned username you use to access the online Student Center. Student MEIDs consist of three letters and seven numbers that are unrelated to your social security number. You can establish or rediscover your MEID at maricopa.edu/students

District employees: Your MEID is the same Enterprise ID used for the HRMS (time and labor) system.

A student ID is an eight-digit, system-generated number. It is unrelated to your Social Security number (SSN), even if you ever previously used your SSN as your student ID.

Continuing students: Your Student ID number remains the same. You are considered a continuing student if you:

  • Ever attended any Maricopa County Community College District schools (MCCCD) (or Maricopa Community Colleges), or
  • You are transferring from one Maricopa Community college to another

New students: Your Student ID number is assigned to you when you create your student account.

NSO101 is a free, non-credit orientation class that helps you get the most from the Rio Salado experience. Before you begin your regular classes, take an hour or two to complete NSO101. If you need to provide transcripts for admissions or transfer credit, please make sure that the official copy is sent from the originating high school, college or state Department of Education.  Copies mailed from the student are considered to be unofficial and can only be used for prerequisites.
