Enrollment Steps Overview
The dual enrollment process at Rio Salado College is broken down into four steps. They are: Get Admitted, Complete Enrollment Steps, Register for Classes and Make Payment Arrangements.
When you first get admitted with the Maricopa Community Colleges, you will receive a Maricopa Enterprise ID (MEID) and a Student ID number.Â
Keep track of these, as you will use them in the registration process.Â
Your Maricopa Student Email account will be your MEID@maricopa.edu and will be active as soon as you are admitted to Rio Salado College.Â
Note: If you are a returning Dual Enrollment student, please proceed to Enrollment Step #3 (Register for Classes).Â
1 - Get Admitted
In Step One, you will complete the online admissions application to set up your student account.  See the Dual Application link.
2 - Complete Next Steps
In Step Two you will complete any remaining enrollment tasks, such as completing identity authentication, reviewing testing requirements and submitting the Financial Responsibility/Consent Form. See All-in-One Enrollment Requirements.
3 - Register for Classes
In Step Three you will register for classes. Each Dual Enrollment class is assigned a five digit class number based on the High School/Instructor/Subject/Class Period. Refer to the course list to find your high school and class number. See riosalado.edu/courselist.Â
4 - Make Payment Arrangements
In Step Four you will make arrangements to pay your tuition and fees, or set up a payment plan.Â
